A high gain setting will supply more distortion and sustain. You can also turn on/off the gain control with the dedicated BOOST function. Furthermore, there are 3x dedicated EQ controls featuring Treble, Middle and Bass knobs. The GigKit White Amplifier helps you to shape the tone to your needs. The Aux input jack allows you to connect an audio source such as an MP3 player or mobile phone so you can play along. And if you need to practice without disturbing anyone there is even a PHONE INPUT jack for your Stereo Headphones.

The guitar has tuning machines that have spring-loaded mechanisms which automatically take up wear which prevent backlash. However, it is possible to adjust the amount of pressure required to turn the machines. The tuning machines should be adjusted to the extent that they are firm, but can turn smoothly. This adjustment is normally unnecessary, and excessive tightening can lead to premature tuning machine wear.
